You can connect your keyboard to an iPad or iPhone running iOS 5.0 or later. Here's how:
1. With your iPad or iPhone turned on, tap the Settings icon.
2. In Settings, tap General and then Bluetooth.
3. If the on-screen switch beside Bluetooth doesn't currently show as ON, tap it once to enable it.
4. Turn the keyboard on by sliding the power switch on the bottom of the keyboard over to the right.
5.Using the device memory wheel on the top left of the keyboard, select 1, 2, or 3. You can save up to three devices to memory on the keyboard.
6. At the top right of the keyboard, press and hold the "i" button until the light to the right of the button rapidly blinks blue.
7. On your iPad or iPhone, in the Devices list, tap Logitech Keyboard K480 to pair it.
8. Your keyboard may pair automatically, or it may request a PIN code to complete the connection. On your keyboard, type the code shown on-screen, and then press the Return or Enter key.
NOTE: Each connect code is randomly generated. Make sure you enter the one shown on your iPad or iPhone screen.
Once you press Enter (if required), the pop-up will disappear and the word Connected will show beside your keyboard in the Devices list.

How do I connect a wireless keyboard and mouse to a smartphone for Android?
Android supports mice, keyboards, and even gamepads. On many Android devices, you can connect USB peripherals to your device. On other Android devices, you may need to connect them wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Yes, this means that you can connect the mouse to your Android tablet and take the mouse cursor.
Android phones and tablets do not have standard, full-size USB ports, so you cannot plug USB peripherals directly. To actually connect a USB device to your Android device, you will need a USB on-the-go cable. A USB OTG cable is an adapter that plugs into the micro-USB port on your device and allows you to connect full-size USB peripherals.
Important note: Not every Android device supports external devices with USB OTG cable. Some devices do not have appropriate hardware support. For example, you can connect USB mice and keyboards to Nexus 7 tablets, but not Nexus 4 smartphones. Make sure from Google whether your device supports USB OTG before purchasing a USB OTG cable.
Once you have a USB OTG cable, just plug it into your device and connect the USB device directly to it. Your peripherals should work without any additional configuration.
A USB OTG cable is not an ideal solution for many devices. The wires have a lot of clutter which should be a portable device. Many devices also do not support USB OTG cable.
If your device does not support USB OTG or you just don't like wiring, then you're still in luck. You can connect wireless Bluetooth mice, keyboards and gamepads directly to your phone or tablet. Just like you would pair a Bluetooth headset, use the Bluetooth settings screen of your Android to pair with your device. You will find this screen settings over Bluetooth.
